A single job or single business, however stable it looks, still depends entirely on one thing continuing to work. Passion doesn't have to mean falling in love with a specific industry from day one. Sometimes it's simply the refusal to keep tolerating something that's making you miserable, a bad boss, an exhausting routine, work that no longer feels worth the toll it's taking. In practice, unlimited free information without structure or guidance tends to produce years of wasted effort rather than real progress. Paying for a mentor or a structured path, when the investment is genuinely warranted, often compresses years of trial and error into months, and the cost of getting there faster is frequently smaller than the cost of the time lost trying to piece it together for free.

There's a quiet assumption that opportunity narrows with age, particularly once someone passes a certain point in a traditional career. In practice, decades of accumulated experience and judgment are exactly what younger competitors don't have, and that experience becomes genuinely valuable the moment it's packaged into mentoring, consulting, or teaching.
