Ange Dove (00:01)
Okay, welcome to You're the Boss Podcast Show. Today I have a very special guest with me, and that is Jacopo... I forgot how to say it now. I will edit that out. Sorry, sorry. How do I say it again?
Jacopo Iasiello (00:16)
It's okay, it's okay. The pronunciation is not a big deal.
Ange Dove (00:31)
And today I have a very special guest with me, Jacopo Iasiello. He's the CEO of Luxury and Wealth Group.
His journey began in Naples, Italy, where his love for family and city shaped his early passion for entrepreneurship. Starting at the age of 11, he immersed himself in books by real estate investors and entrepreneurs, laying the foundation for his future success.
He went on to start several businesses and developed his innovative MPBE Method — Meditation, Morning, Prayer, Biohacking, and Exercise — which has transformed his life.
His book is called Healthy, Rich and Happy, and we'll be discussing some of those concepts on today's show.
Jacopo, welcome to the show. It's lovely to have you here.
Jacopo Iasiello (01:39)
First of all, thank you for inviting me to your show. I'm really happy to share my thoughts and knowledge about how to create success from scratch — first from the inside, and then externally — to become healthy, rich, and happy.
These three words are really important for everybody. For me personally, I pursue all three every day, but you need to work consistently to achieve them.
Ange Dove (02:09)
Nice. Before we get into all of that, walk me through the beginning. How did you become an entrepreneur?
People listening might be thinking about entrepreneurship but aren't quite sure why or how. Perhaps hearing your story will inspire them.
What happened for you?
Jacopo Iasiello (02:34)
I come from a very loving family. I had wonderful parents and grandparents and grew up surrounded by love.
But from a very young age, I felt different. I knew I didn't want what most people would call a normal life.
I became very creative and first pursued a career as a professional soccer player. I left home at 14 years old and started reading books about business and successful people when I was only 11.
I realised something important: if you want abundance in your life, you need to create something different. It's very difficult to achieve that by staying in a traditional nine-to-five job.
My first goal was professional soccer. Unfortunately, when I was around 17 and a half, I suffered a serious injury that completely changed my life.
After dedicating years to becoming a professional athlete, I suddenly had to reinvent myself.
That's when I entered the world of business.
Ange Dove (04:05)
What did you go through emotionally when you realised your soccer career wasn't going to happen? That must have been incredibly difficult.
Jacopo Iasiello (04:19)
It was very difficult at the time, but now I see it as one of the greatest blessings in my life.
When difficult things happen, we often don't understand their purpose immediately. It's only years later that we can look back and see how those events shaped us.
At that moment, I felt lost. I didn't know what I should do next.
My family wanted me to have a regular life — a stable job, marriage in my late twenties — but that wasn't the life I envisioned for myself.
So I created a win-win solution. I told my family:
"I'll complete my PhD, but I also want to build businesses."
That led me to start my first company, which eventually became a multi-million-euro success in the jewellery industry.
Ange Dove (05:28)
You say that very casually!
How did you go from knowing nothing to building a multimillion-dollar jewellery business?
Jacopo Iasiello (05:44)
I followed a clear process that I still use today.
Every entrepreneur has a strategy for creating something new. My process consists of four pillars:
First: Research.
Understand everything about the business and whether there's a real market opportunity.
Second: Growth.
Develop your knowledge. At the time, I had two ideas — a clothing store concept and a jewellery business.
I didn't know anything about jewellery, so I studied deeply. I visited jewellery districts and spoke directly with jewellers.
Third: Action.
Knowledge without action means nothing.
I didn't have money, so I researched government grants available for young entrepreneurs and secured funding.
That was how I got started.
Interestingly, for the first six months, nobody entered my shop. I actually slept on the second floor because business was so slow.
Through research, I realised I'd made a major mistake:
Location.
Location.
Location.
I relocated the business. My father helped me, lending me his last €8,000 even though I was already carrying significant debt.
From there, I built a chain of jewellery and gold-buying stores that became a multimillion-euro company.
Ange Dove (08:39)
So the lesson is: know your market, understand the industry, do your research, and then take action.
How did you then move into real estate and eventually become involved with Forbes Italy?
Jacopo Iasiello (09:09)
As an entrepreneur, you're always looking for new opportunities.
One thing I learned from Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad was the importance of cash flow.
By the age of 22, my jewellery business was doing very well, and I had paid off my debts.
I purchased a real estate investment course and learned how to buy properties at auction.
My first property investment earned me €34,000.
That was my lightbulb moment.
I realised real estate is one of the most powerful vehicles for building wealth because you can create significant returns even without substantial capital.
It's a slower process than some businesses, but it's also one of the most secure paths to long-term wealth.
As for Forbes, I now contribute to a Forbes editorial project in Italy.
I interview multimillionaires and billionaires around the world and share their knowledge and experiences with the Italian audience.
I attend major events in technology, real estate, and franchising to discover opportunities and bring those insights back to my readers.
Ange Dove (11:48)
One thing that stood out is the importance of being connected to the right people.
What advice would you give listeners about building valuable relationships?
Jacopo Iasiello (12:03)
The key is adding value first.
Most people meet someone and immediately think:
"What can I get from this person?"
Instead, ask:
"How can I help this person?"
That mindset has allowed me to build meaningful relationships with billionaires and successful entrepreneurs.
Before asking for anything, I focused on providing value.
When I meet someone new, I always ask:
"How can I contribute to this person's life?"
Relationships are built through genuine value and trust.
But there's another lesson I've learned.
Some relationships are reciprocal and some are not.
You need to learn whether someone is a giver or a taker.
Giving is important, but protecting your energy is important too.
Ange Dove (13:44)
Let's talk about your book.
Can you explain what Healthy, Rich and Happy is about?
Jacopo Iasiello (14:16)
The book comes from what I practice every day.
I've experienced emotional challenges and business setbacks throughout my life.
Eventually I realised that before building external success, you must first build yourself internally.
When I moved from Europe to the United States, I didn't speak English, didn't know anyone in Florida, and had to start from scratch.
That experience pushed me to create a daily system that gave me energy, focus, and resilience.
The result became my MPBE Method:
Meditation
Prayer
Biohacking
Exercise
These habits transformed my life.
I wake up at 5am every day and follow this process consistently.
The book explains the science and research behind these pillars and how they can help people create abundance in their lives.
Ange Dove (19:13)
Tell me more about biohacking.
Jacopo Iasiello (19:19)
Biohacking is essentially understanding your body better and using tools to optimise performance.
For example, I use an Oura Ring to track sleep, recovery, and how my habits affect my energy.
I also use red-light therapy and bright-light therapy.
But the important thing is that you don't need expensive devices.
The real goal is awareness.
You need to learn how your body responds to food, sleep, exercise, and daily habits.
The technology simply helps you measure it.
Ange Dove (22:34)
So it's really about optimising your energy?
Jacopo Iasiello (22:40)
Exactly.
Without energy, we cannot create anything.
Ange Dove (22:48)
Can you repeat the four pillars again?
Jacopo Iasiello (22:48)
Certainly.
Meditation
Prayer
Biohacking
Exercise
And real estate is the vehicle I use to create abundance through the energy generated by those habits.
Ange Dove (24:22)
Anyone could apply those principles, regardless of industry, right?
Jacopo Iasiello (24:29)
Absolutely.
These principles apply to everybody.
Without energy and personal development, it's difficult to achieve anything meaningful.
Ange Dove (24:45)
You mentioned exercising according to your age. What do you mean by that?
Jacopo Iasiello (24:52)
Many people train as though they're still 18 years old.
But your body changes over time.
You need exercise routines suited to your age, goals, and physical condition.
Exercise should strengthen your body, not damage it.
Your body is your temple.
If you neglect it, you'll spend time managing problems instead of pursuing your goals.
Ange Dove (26:57)
If you had to sum up the reason for your success in one word, what would it be?
Jacopo Iasiello (27:11)
Resilience.
When I was young, a journalist described me as incredibly resilient.
That stayed with me.
I've always believed that no matter what happens, I will continue moving forward.
Success isn't only about achieving goals for yourself.
It's about sharing what you've learned and helping others.
That's what truly brings me happiness.
Ange Dove (28:26)
I think that's come through clearly today.
Everything you've spoken about comes back to sharing, giving, and creating value for others.
Jacopo Iasiello (28:36)
Exactly.
But remember:
Give value, yes.
Help people, yes.
But also learn to recognise whether someone is a giver or a taker.
Giving should never come at the cost of completely draining your own energy.
Ange Dove (29:55)
That's a great point to finish on.
Where can listeners find your book?
Jacopo Iasiello (30:05)
The book is available on Amazon.
It's called Healthy, Rich and Happy.
You can also visit healthyrichandhappy.com or find me on Instagram.
Ange Dove (30:40)
Perfect. I'll include those links for listeners.
Jacopo, thank you so much for your time today. It's been inspiring hearing your story and learning about your approach to success.
Jacopo Iasiello (31:22)
Thank you. I appreciate it. Have a beautiful day.
