Building a successful business is more than putting together an offer and hoping it has wings. It often used to puzzle me why some businesses would fail, not immediately but in the first 5 years or 10 years. It didn't add up for me, until I started running my own, and I realised that without strong foundations and a proven system or framework, a business may not fail immediately, but over time, its "legs" would weaken and the business would inevitably collapse.

I call this system my Get Ready Get Seen Get Business framework.

In my copywriting business, I've had plenty of business owners approach me for help and wondering why people would be coming to their website but not buying.

  • It's not enough for people to know you exist. They have to trust you too. You need to be ready to be seen. That takes planning.

  • Similarly, getting plenty of orders and bookings, but not being able to fulfil them because you are not ready, will also lead to business collapse because they'll buy from you once but not again, and your reputation will be damaged.

  • And if you have customers and are selling, but you don't bring in a constant supply of new customers, natural client attrition will lead to you losing your business because, without new customers, you won't be able to sustain it.

MODULE 1: YOUR NICHE

In this section, we'll explore what business you can do, or narrow down a broader idea you have so you can stand out as a thought leader and specialise in one thing. If you have no idea what to do at this point, we'll explore the options with you, looking at what you are an expert in and what you love to do. We'll also explore some mindset blocks that may be getting in your way. After all, this is new or uncharted for you right now. Resistance is normal. But we'll make sure that doesn't stop you.

Module 2: YOUR MESSAGE

In this section, we'll explore how you say what it is that you do so your message and what you stand for is crystal clear. Confused customers don't buy. We'll look at your brand visuals and messaging, your brand promise, your value proposition. Once you have this documented, marketing will be a question of copy and paste - easy! But you have to do this part first and most business owners don't, so you'll already be ahead of the competeition just by doing this step.

MODULE 3: THE ONE

In this section, we'll get to know your target customers better than they know themselves. While we call this the ONE, you will actually develop multiple client profiles that you can market to separately. The key is that it's one message for one target client. You don't want to be spraying your message to everyone that will listen and hope that something sticks. But you also don't want to go too narrow either with just one client type as most coaches will tell you to do. Once you've done this in-depth work, you will be able to address all the psychological barriers that stop clients buying from you and have people asking to do business with you. And you'll have supr-tight messaging you can cut and paste into your marketing material instead of trying to reinvent the wheel each time.

MODULE 4: YOUR FRAMEWORK

In this section, we create the most important asset your business will own - your signatre system - what you become known for. When you devise this, you set yourself apart from the competition with YOUR framework or system. You'll end up with an easy to explain visual that will walk your clients through the journey they will take with you and why you are the one to guide them. This will be your intellectual proerty and will be the backbone of your business. Everything you market, every post you do, will all centre around this system in some way.

MODULE 5: YOUR OFFER

In this section, we'll work out an easy and irrisistible offer you can announce to your market. We'll show you how to make your offer a no-brainer for people to buy, how to package it so it's understandable (remember a confused mind doesn't buy) and how you present your offer to the world. This is looking at the lowest hanging fruit just to get you started. In my Inner Circle programme, you would go on to develop a whole ecosystem of offers to appeal to clients at different stages of their buying journey so you make sure you are serving everyone (of your target audience) and no one gets left behind.

MODULE 6: THE TECH

In this section, you gain autonomy over your business because we go through how to set your business up on a platform that will host your websites, funnels, email marketing campaigns, courses, webinars, membership sites, etc. I've picked the easiest out there to learn and that means you don't need to rely on programmers or designers to get a landing page up quickly to offer a new product (like the page you are looking at now). You CAN build this and we'll show you how. Then if you build a team down the road, you can document the processes and hand the tasks over to them. Either way, you finally have control over the tech, not the other way around!
